The BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Originals Superstar BOOST Revamps the Iconic Superstar

The BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x ADIDAS ORIGINALS SUPERSTAR BOOST unites two Goliaths of Japanese streetwear on a revamp of one of the most iconic shoes ever created.

Remixing classics such as the adidas Superstar takes real courage: the Superstar has stood firm as one of the most-loved and recognisable shoes in history. So if you’re going to bring something new to the table, you’d better do it with some style and class. And who better to do exactly that than the teams at Bape and Neighborhood? Following the classic-meets-contemporary theme that we’ve seen applied to several releases recently, the original design has been rejuvenated with a a sock-fit Primeknit construction with premium suede overlays. The all-important shell-toe remains in place, reminding you of the shoe’s blueprint, while the new midsole features a special concealed BOOST section. The smart grey uppers feature black details on the leather serrated 3-stripes, a branded woven heel-pull and embroidered BAPE® and NEIGHBORHOOD branding. It’s a bold and brave update to one of our favourite designs – we’re expecting a lot of interest and discussion when this one drops!
