CONVERSE ANNOUNCE THE ICONIC WEAPON COLLECTION

Earlier this month, CONVERSE UK announced the return of the much-loved CONVERSE WEAPON collection: one of the most important shoes in basketball history, backed up with a loyal following off the court too.

Reworked from the sole up by design maestro Chris Law, it’s no surprise to see that this retro is totally on-point. Each of the new models features a slightly more streamlined shape that feels modern and appropriate for 2014 and beyond. Updating a classic is always difficult, but the important elements have been preserved and this feels much like an improved shoe overall. There are a multitude of exciting colours to follow, but you can get an idea of what’s going on by checking out the video below and the surrounding pictures.

In celebration of the collection and project, US hip-hop legend PUSHA T has been flown over for the official opening party, which takes place in town tonight.
