An icon of numerous youth subcultures, both past and present, director Karim Huu Do captures the carefree spirit of a new Chuck Taylor wearing generation, whether they’re riding Choppers through palatial homes, hanging out in the city, or throwing themselves into swimming pools and generally just breaking down the jaded boundaries of a boredom-filled society.

Featuring appearances from Stranger Things’ actress Millie Bobby Brown, model and actress Yaha Shadidi, rappers Rejjie Snow and Vince Staples, plus many more recognisable faces – the short film is soundtracked with poignant snippets of rising London vocalist GAIKA’s track 3D, perfectly embodying Chuck Taylor’s reign as a lifestyle symbol, and never just a trend.
