The CONVERSE PRO LEATHER sees an instrumental basketball icon return…

An important shoe for Converse, the Pro Leather first made itself known way back in 1976. It was the first full-grain leather hoops shoe from the brand to feature the Star Chevron logo which together helped to define Converse’s identity in both ‘80s and ‘90s basketball. Its smooth and uncomplicated build represents the era’s laidback style, which soon gained hardcore Pro Leather fans such as Julius Erving, aka Dr. J, who championed the model on the court. Here the model stays true to its roots with a stitch-for-stitch remodel of a ‘77 model from the vaults, which has been rehashed with contemporary comfort for modern-day lifestyle wear. Look out for it landing alongside the Chuck 70 as part of the Converse All Star Pack, which celebrates Converse’s colossal basketball heritage.

The CONVERSE PRO LEATHER is due to release on THURSDAY 7 NOVEMBER: hit the banner below to shop the latest from CONVERSE ahead of the drop.
