Hot Property: The Converse x A$AP Nast Collection

The CONVERSE x A$AP NAST COLLECTION sees the Harlem rapper transform two iconic All Star silhouettes with a throwback mid-century edge.

Working with two of Converse’s pioneering basketball models, A$AP Nast’s spin on the CONVERSE ONE STAR is constructed in a soft-hued mustard corduroy upper, with the iconic one-star emblem taking shape in a contrasting deep Red Dahlia leather. The CONVERSE CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR 70 sees the OG high-top build decking out in a tartan-inspired plaid outer, complete with two interchangeable fuzzy laces in Egret and Greener Pastures. The phrase “SOMEWHERE IN MID-CENTURY” appears on both of the sneaker’s sidewalls, reminding of the era that influences A$AP Nast’s creative direction.  The same phrase is also utilised across the front of the exclusive Converse x A$AP Collection t-shirt, which is available in a thoroughly ’60s and ’70s approved palette of Cream, Cardinal, and Dark Chocolate.
