The Harlem-raised rapper escapes the city to link up with Converse for a footwear and clothing capsule, designed with the great outdoors in mind. The JACK PURCELL MID CHUKKA is at the centre of attention here, which was initially released as a badminton shoe in 1935 but broke through as a lifestyle icon in the mid-60s, cementing itself as an everyday casual classic. Nast’s edition features heightened rubber overlays adding a fresh breath of air to the silhouette, which is presented in a choice of pumpkin orange or a muted lemon shade. The drop also includes a small selection of apparel; boasting two Crew Sweatshirts with matching Crew Sweatpants and a set of vintage wordmark T-shirts that feature “JP” (Jack Purcell abbreviated) on the front, followed by a list of words Nast associates with the brand listed on the back.
