The CONVERSE x CHOCOLATE collection might have been designed with skaters in mind, but with such clean styling and easy-to-wear colours, it’s going to appeal a wide range of people.

Longtime pro skater for Converse, Kenny Anderson, brings his board sponsors Chocolate Skateboards to the party this time, resulting in a short-but-sweet range of apparel and footwear. The collection, which also includes short and long-sleeve T-shirts and a recycled nylon packable windbreaker, utilises artwork by the illustrious Evan Hecox, who created the branding and many of the graphics for Chocolate Skateboards. The artwork that features throughout collection was pulled from one of Kenny’s favorite old board graphics from Evan’s ‘Simple Life’ series of graphics. As a new element and continuation of this series, Evan created a new piece of artwork for the sockliners which will also be featured on a forthcoming board for Kenny. The new artwork follows the lifecycle of a seed as it comes into our world: “Plant a seed, let it grow, and pollinate“.

The Converse One Star and Chuck Taylor All-Star in this set are constructed in 100% recycled poly cotton canvas, with CONS traction rubber for increased grip and durability and the ever-reliable Lunarlon sockliner for enhanced cushioning and comfort. All in all, thi is a sensible and practical collaboration, but with lashings of extra style – we like it a lot.
