After Don C decked the ERX 260 out in a Hornets-inspired colourway for All-Star Weekend, the model’s next collaboration takes a new direction by enlisting Takahiro “The Soloist” Miyashita for a stealthy black take on the silhouette. Previously working on the Odessa and One Star, this is fresh ground for the man behind Number (N)ine, but he pulls out all of the stops, working a high cut blacked out leather and suede upper with a distinct lacebed that features both winding laces and zipper for a boot-like finish. “I AM THE SOLOIST” appears on the tongues in contrasting white embroidery, with an icy outsole completing the slick collaboration.
