The Jordan 1 remains a pinnacle piece in the Nike back catalogue, making every collaboration on this basic basketball silhouette very interesting.

For this special premium release, the team at DSM have updated the original Air Jordan with a full patent leather upper in tonal obsidian, featuring minimal hits of white on the tongue tag and midsole. Patent is always an interesting choice of material, often resulting in the ‘Marmite effect’ (ie. you either love it – or hate it), but we think that these have been well executed. The finishing flourishes, such as the screw-on Jumpman aglets and the flat waxed laces, work wonders on this clean and simple collaboration.
