Japanese powerhouse BAPE join forces with high profile British bootmakers Dr Martens once more, serving up four shoes that fuse both brand’s ability to make a statement. Whilst the first drop back in January offered up oxblood red and black options, this run opts for black and khaki, decking the 1490 boot and PETRI SHOE out in premium leather uppers embossed with the ape head logo synonymous with Nigo’s brand. Dr Martens’ iconic steel toe is exposed and utilised as a design element, which is applied in gold along with the eyelets and a BAPE-branded lace keeper for extra flair. The boots’ trademark heel-loop is given a tonal finish, along with the distinct yellow welt-stitch we all know and love.
