The Second Filling Pieces SS17 Collection Drop Has Arrived

The second of the FILLING PIECES SS17 COLLECTION trilogy of drops has landed and boy is it a big one.

The new collection is titled ‘Let Us Create’, which refers to the creative freedom that producing custom-made sole units affords the brand, as it now has the means to create all aspects of the shoe. Which means that the Amsterdam-based label is now able to do without the generic rubber cup-soles it used in the past, replacing them with proprietary Filling Pieces-designed innovations.

The SS17 collection consists of 600 new styles that consist of 14 new silhouettes and 5 new custom Filling Pieces soles. It is being released in three large drops – this is the second while the first was unveiled in January. According to Filling Pieces, the key styles within the second drop include the Apache Runner, Roots Runner Knit, Low Top Neo Laced, Steel Runner Zip and Low Top Perforated Down. There are a lot of new silhouettes to peruse here, so take your time and enjoy the photos, all taken on location in Madagascar, a location the brand considered to be ideal backdrop for its most creative and diverse collection to date.
