Filling Pieces Add to SS17 Offering with The “Let Us Create” Capsule

Dutch powerhouse Filling Pieces reveal the third and final addition to their SS17 season with the LET US CREATE collection.

Named in honour of the brand’s newfound ability to create their own custom sole unit, Filling Pieces celebrate taking control of the footwear process from start to finish. The last in their 600 style run this season, the third drop sees the Amsterdam-based company unveil 14 new silhouettes and five new soles.

All designed from the bottom up with summer functionality in mind, this run sees the brand evolve on existing shapes and deconstruct classic silhouettes. Moving beyond run-of-the-mill trainers, they also introduce several new female dedicated styles that lean on sandal inspired stylings for minimal and laceless designs that give the feet room to breathe. Baby blue, pink and sandy hues play a significant part in the drop’s colourway palette, with soles and uppers perfectly matched for a flawless summer feel. Stand out styles include the robust Mountain Cut Thick Ripple and and Low Top Ghost, but there’s definitely no limitation when it comes to choice.

Shot in the unique plains of Madagascar with model Leon Hoyte-Egan, the campaign highlights creativity and individualism in nature, perfectly reflecting Filling Pieces’ recent journey in innovation.
