GET ULTRA WITH NIKE BY YOU

The NIKE BY YOU ONLINE STORE provides limitless options if you’re after some footwear that has a bit more of your own DNA. On NIKEs kind invitation, we headed over to the site to construct something with a bit of a story and that would stand out on the streets on London.

Whilst thinking about what to do, we were drawn an office favourite from the NIKE archives that was the revered NIKE DUNK CITY ATTACK range from the very late 90’s. This Japan-only range made the best of the bold colour blocking of the iconic basketball shoe and spun some vivid colours that could only come from the Far East. Each ended up with nicknames that included Currys (maybe the first time the word was used to describe a Nike shoe), Stormtroopers and our personal favourite the ULTRAMAN’s. We dwelt on the Ultra’s and thought about the superhero that the shoe was named after and thought “What would he wear now, what would match his silver and red suit?” After some deliberation we settled on the NIKE AIR MAX 270 as a fitting model for the entity that hails from Nebula M78 and with the help of the vast options offered on the NIKE BY YOU ONLINE STORE we were able to create a colourway that was fitting for the superhero from beyond the stars. After a short wait they were at the office and in our hands, and very nice they are too. An excellent tribute to an iconic superhero. Have a look and see for yourself.
