Constantly pushing the boundaries in a footwear market that has become somewhat saturated and hard to break into, GOURMET have established themselves as an innovative brand, renowned for their individuality. After the success of the 35 LITE towards the end of last year, their next reworking of one of their classics comes in the form of the GOURMET QUADICI LITE.
Following the success of the original Quadici, they’ve stripped out the air unit midsole in favour of the Lite sole first seen on The 35. Add some speckle along with a colour coordinated support cage for the heel and the shoe is hardly recognisable from its predecessor. This new silhouette is being debuted in two colourways, both in GOURMET’S customary premium-quality materials.
The first uses a hard wearing leather referred to as white sand, which, to me and you, is probably off-white. Teamed with black heel detailing and a micro-perforated topline collar, the silhouette is finished off with a branded red leather tab on the tongue.
The second mixes several contrasting leathers: a soft salmon along with a cyan and the same tough black as used on its counterpart. Again the micro perforation and tongue tab are present, giving the Quadici family another happy sibling. There’s also a black and red colourway expected along sometime soon too.
GOURMET have really broadened their horizons with this re-design, adding two killer make-ups to their ever-increasing arsenal of kicks. The GOURMET QUADICI LITE in both colourways shown, is available now with WELLGOSH and can be picked up via the link-through below.
