The HUMMEL HIVE X MITA BY SHIGEYUKI KUNII collaboration continues this month with a second shoe in the ongoing project from hummel and the Japanese sneaker brand, mita. Designed by creative director, Shigeyuki Kunii, the second drop follows on from the seafood-inspired Marathona OG released last December by presenting another two vivid takes on the same classic silhouette.

Originally released as a long distance runner in the ‘80s, MITA’s second spin on the Marathona OG features either a classic yellow/khaki or two-tone blue upper constructed in premium suede, canvas, and mesh. hummel’s eye for detail appears heavily across both models, with white contrasting stitching on each design, plus unicolour flat lace and two-tone round lace options supplied with each pair for varied looks. The design is expertly finished with a clean all-white EVA mid-sole, adding the perfect dose of comfort to this perfectly consistent collab.
