Jordan Brand Spring 2016 The Alternate Collection

The JORDAN BRAND SPRING 2016 THE ALTERNATE COLLECTION takes inspiration from what we now refer to as ‘player exclusives’.

The three-piece collection includes an AIR JORDAN 2, an AIR JORDAN 4 and AIR JORDAN 5 LOW, all sporting Chicago Bulls-style colourways. The AIR JORDAN 2 sees an almost entirely black full-grain leather upper contrasted with hits of red on the side, lace eyelets, heel and tongue logo. Snakeskin embossed leather panels on the sides add that extra little touch of detail. The colour combination continues on to the sole, with an all-black midsole sat above a matching black outsole with red detailing. The AIR JORDAN 4 instead goes with a predominantly-white tumbled leather upper, again contrasted by pops of red. The red can be spotted on the mesh overlays, lining, lace eyelets, midsole and the ALTERNATE 89 graphic on the heel tab. Rounding things off down below is a white outsole and matching air unit and to finish off the pack is the AIR JORDAN 5 LOW, which also goes with a black and red combo. Pops of red feature on the lining, lace lock, heel logo and sole unit, whilst a grey tongue is the only other departure from an all-black finish. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again… these colourways never seem to get old!
