Karhu’s Spring Offering Celebrates the Turn of Spring in Finland

It’s double release time for Karhu, as they unleash the KARHU FUSION 2.0 “MAALISKUU” and the KARHU SYNCHRON CLASSIC “OUTDOOR” packs.

Following on from the Porvoo pack earlier this month, Finnish footwear brand Karhu pick up where they left off, launching a two-pronged attack by dropping both the Fusion 2.0 Maaliskuu and Synchron Classic Outdoor.

Finnish for March, “Maaliskuu” signals a turning point in the country’s season, as the snow finally melts and the grass can finally be seen through the frost. Karhu channel this feeling of spring anticipation through the Fusion 2.0 model, bathing the restyled ‘90s running silhouette in two seasonal colourways – alpine green and purple, or yellow and dark blue. Across both shoes, a soft pigskin suede wraps around both shoes, complete with mesh and leather overlays. The Karhu mark is made with a contrasting “M-logo” taking to the side.

The second of Karhu’s late March releases sees the brand pay further respects to spring, with the iconic Synchron Classic undergoing an outdoors inspired make under that ticks all the right boxes. The Synchron Classic Outdoor’s dual density EVA midsole with a visible air cushion unit in the heel ensures that outdoor wear is as comfy as it can be, whilst maintaining a pretty sweet aesthetic with marzipan coloured pigskin suede, black and white two-tone laces, a white “M” logo, and original black nylon mesh that nods to Finland’s birch tree forests.

It’s safe to say, in Karhu’s books, spring has truly sprung.
