Skate Goes Chic With the Karl Lagerfeld x Vans Collection

The KARL LAGERFELD x VANS collection unites the fashion icon with the legendary skate shoe brand.

Most of us already know that since 1966, Vans has been at the heart of skateboarding, building a reputation for the most sought-after collection of classics in the skate industry today. Over the decades, their easy-to-wear timeless designs have found adopters and fans from all walks of life, all adding credibility to this unique haute couture collaboration. This impressive 12-piece collection with Karl Lagerfeld’s self-named brand is comprised of footwear, logo hoodies, printed tees and more, with several items featuring a rather interesting take on the classic Vans checkerboard pattern; instead of the usual alternating squares, Lagerfeld’s print features interlocked silhouettes of his portrait. The footwear part of the collection includes laceless platform versions of the OLD SKOOL and the SK8-HI, whilst a rather special edition of the SLIP-ON comes adorned with the aforementioned portrait pattern. Each model features premium finishing throughout, with special details as a perfect sign-off to this deluxe collection.
