Laces Out! Festival Returns To Liverpool

After a hugely successful one-day festival in March, LACES OUT! returns to Liverpool for AW16, pitching up at the CAMP & FURNACE event space on SATURDAY 19 NOVEMBER.

Visitors can expect a bigger and better experience this time around, as the event continues to grow. An upgraded marketplace will have a wider variety of sneakers, apparel and accessories for men, women and the nippers. If you’re looking to give your kicks a tune up, there will be a free trainer cleaning service provided by Jason Markk. But Laces Out! is more than just a place for buying and sprucing up trainers, as it will lay on events that relate to all aspects of trainer culture. There will be a Q&A with author and leading trainer expert Neal Heard, and a panel examining the UK trainer scene past, present and future, which will feature Oi Polloi’s Nigel Lawson, Lost Art’s Dave Mackey, CrepJunkie’s Nathaniel Thomas, among others. On the music front, expect DJ sets from No Fakin’, Suedebrown, DJ 2Kind and other top DJs from across the region. Art will be represented, too, with a trainer themed art exhibition that will feature works by artists such as Brian Cannon, Josh Parkin and Steph Morris.

Liverpool has a long and storied history with British trainer culture, so it’s a fitting venue for one of Europe’s most exciting sneaker festivals.
