For this one-time collaboration, AMELIE PICHARD takes us on a trip into her world, which is filled with fun ‘90s icons and where glamour can often take a subversive turn in a retro-contemporary spirit that is true to her designs. Both the ultra-feminine WENDON and the more masculine R1000 have been created around the theme of the classic white trainer. The redesign combines practicality and style, with an offbeat take on the rubber boot, that results in a duo of milky white sneakers, created with a synthetic patent leather base. The white continues on to the lining, laces and sole units to stay true to the all-white inspiration, with only the gold-coloured metal lace-tips and detailing on the lace breaking up the monotony. The trend of clean and simple collaborations continues, and we should all have a pair of all-white trainers in our rotation: either of these would be worthy additions to any collection.
