The McQ Aratana Makes its Debut

MCQ expands further into the footwear arena with the MCQ ARATANA, which embodies the core foundations of the standout fashion house. Exploring the influence of air on technical activities such as parachuting and sailing, Arete founder and Aratana designer Mylles O’Meally teamed up with his brand’s senior designer Slimane Cherif Khaldi in a creative search for both lightness and strength. The result is the Aratana’s lightweight multilayered construction featuring recycled leather, mesh, a BLOOM MATERIAL midsole and a convenient double-cord lacing system. Named after the Japanese word for “new,” it also features a modular sole unit constructed for transformative add-ons, which will start to be available during Cycle V.
