1TRL signals a new era for Merrell, who go back to their roots to highlight their longstanding heritage in the outdoor footwear arena with this trail-ready collection. The new venture features 16 designs that will drop with European stockists such as Oi Polloi and Street Machine between now and summer, boasting over 40 built-to-last products that capture the brand’s pioneering essence; ranging from the elite performance worthy MTL LONG SKY – a product favoured by trail running champion Ragna Debats – to the MQM FLEX 2.0, which has been designed with traversing mountains at its core. All of the footwear features Merell owned technology such as Kinetic Fit, FLEXconnect and Quantum Grip working in tandem with reliable fabrications such as Gore-Tex, Cordura and Vibram to create a product that is both built to last and keep up the pace. At this point, the 1TRL collection only caters for men, but a women’s line is in the pipeline, so stay tuned for further information on that and other 1TRL activity as we hear.
