The classic ‘90s running shoe made its resurgence last year, and hasn’t looked back since; with Footpatrol now following in the footsteps of Mita, Beams and Patta to introduce another undeniably strong collaborative addition to the Sky Medal OG’s growing line. Worn by the likes of track and field legend Carl Lewis at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, this shoe is full of sporting might. Footpatrol has transformed it in a simple creamy off-white and beige mesh and suede build that lets the silhouette’s iconic shape do all of the talking, with pops of deep purple taking shape around the toe, back heel, and collar. The distinct Runbird logo runs down the sides in a metallic gold foil application, whilst a Footpatrol logo reworked in the style of the Transtab logo found in the same position on the original silhouette appears on the back heel.
