Returning again for an SS19 capsule dubbed ‘The Next Chapter’, Moncler and Fragment Design have drawn inspiration from the culture of music touring and travel, adding punkish looking designs with functional performance materials. Elevating basics, the collection is a continuation of the “Backstage” theme followed on from the first Moncler Genius capsule. The use of details such as pop-colours, silver studs, black nylon, and all-over patterns highlights the vibrant line-up and accentuates the punk design. The collection consists of plaid blazers, hoodies, field jackets, parkas and shirts, emblazoned with unique patterns and the iconic twin thunderbolts logo. The key piece is the 7 Moncler Fragment Design Ska Jacket, overlayed with a white thermal branding and a rubberised lacquer bottom treatment.
