The nanamica SS19 Collection Embraces Mismatching

2019-03-07T11:25:41

The NANAMICA SS19 COLLECTION encourages out-of-the-box thinking with a range of items designed for intentional mismatching…

Japanese brand nanamica is known for their steady outpouring of refined items that stand the test of time, and this season they embark on another ocean-inspired drop that explores the idea of “alternative dressing, titled “nanatora.” The season is broken down into three themes: the almighty set-up suit, a spring coat, and multicolour windbreakers.

Firstly, the ALPHADRY set-up suit introduces a new brand staple that offers around-the-clock wear regardless of the elements, consisting of a double layer GORE-TEX® construction with layers of pattern mesh and ultra-light-weight stretch chino cloth. The spring coat selection serves up an array of lightweight and packable technical coats that are designed to effortlessly deal with unpredictable spring climates. The reversible three-layer nylon GORE-TEX® jacket with removable hood and down liner offers protection for plummeting temperatures and relief on hotter days, with its lightweight and packable nature meaning it can easily be stowed in your bag.

Finally, the season offers up an unbeatable staple, which nanamica truly make their own. The hip-length nylon jacket is based on designs of US Army helmet bags, drawing together three different materials in similar shades. Releasing soon, there’s no time like the present to embrace alternative dressing…
