The New Balance 2002R Heads to the Hills

When it comes to the NEW BALANCE 2002R, the Boston brand are truly putting the pedal to the metal. Based on the original NB2002, this updated edition of the top-tier running design has gained an additional ‘R’ in its name. Introduced in 2020, a couple of high-profile collabs and the famed Protection Pack has given the 2002R a little extra wind beneath its wings when it comes to demand. This forthcoming drop sees the model take on a hiking boot aesthetic with metal lace eyelets, reinforced ‘Toe Protect’ to the toe, whilst the midsole provides both N-ergy and ABZORB technology underfoot. Already available in Korea, we’re hoping these reach UK shores (and feet) soon.
