NEW BALANCE 990 – DISTINCT WEEKENDER

Inspiration for shoes can come from pretty much anywhere and for this particular NEW BALANCE 990, it’s the traditional waxed canvas weekend bag that provides the starting point.

A lagoon blue canvas base is overlaid with a slightly darker blue suede to create a tonal finish across the upper. A pop of ruby red on the N on both the lateral and medial sides, and hits of tan leather on the tongue label and heel panel finish off the upper section. A clean white EVA midsole contrasts against the dark upper beautifully, whilst the ruby red outsole ties it all together. The colours and materials work really well together and remind us of weekends away… Good times! Unsurprisingly, this excellent shoe continues the quality that we’ve come to expect from their Made In USA products.
