NEW BALANCE C-SERIES LAUNCH EVENT ROUNDUP

 

Last Thursday saw the release of the NEW BALANCE C-SERIES COLLECTION, a technical re-engineering of select styles to create an ideal shoe for use on and off the bike. To celebrate the launch, New Balance threw a party at the Tokyo Bike shop in Shoreditch, to which cyclists and New Balance enthusiasts alike were invited.

Given the collection was designed by the Japanese wing of the New Balance corporation, it was great to see that representatives had made the long trip over specifically for the event. Talking through the design process with the team personally was an illuminating experience and helped us understand their goal of creating a completely dual-purpose shoe. The Japanese theme ran deep with plenty of Asahi served along with an impressive platter of fresh sushi. Thanks be to New Balance and Tokyo Bike for the hospitality!
