​​The NEW BALANCE MADE IN UK 991 marks the Boston brand’s 40-year milestone of manufacturing in the UK with this deep grey colourway crafted in their Flimby outpost. First launched in 2001 as the predecessor to the 990v2, the 991 was the first of the iconic 99x series to feature a new and improved midsole design with an ABZORB window in the forefoot and beneath the heel. Its streamlined shape ensured its popularity, with this option featuring switched around colours taken from the classic 991GL colourway to create a fresh yet familiar design.
