The NEW BALANCE MILITARY PACK updates two classic ‘Made in USA’ models, the 997 and 998, in smart earthy tones for the spring season.

Manufactured in the US for over 75 years, it’s no secret that the New Balance Made in USA collection is a premium offering from NB’s Boston HQ. Heritage-inspired, but with emphasis on the skilled craftsmanship that’s unique to New balance, you can be sure that any product in the series is going to appease the most discerning customer. For this new Military Pack, we’ve got updates on the 997 and 998 models, both sporting camouflage hues and tonal detailing, and constructed in a combination of soft suede and woven textile material. Cushioned ABZORB® inserts keep things comfortable inside, whilst lightweight and durable ENCAP cushioning and robust rubber outsoles keep things on track underfoot.

Interestingly, where many brands simply slap camo patterns onto a shoe and label it ‘military’, this time there’s a genuine connection with the armed forces. Last year, New Balance announced it had reached a $17.3 million agreement to make footwear for the US military. Marked as a win for the preservation and growth of American manufacturing jobs, the deal led to new hires for the US division of the brand.
