Power of Three: the New Balance x BAPE 2002R Collaboration Reveals a Third Colourway

The NEW BALANCE X BAPE 2002R collaborative project continues to gain momentum, following the news of a third colourway joining the set.

New Balance retro releases are always on-point and the return of the 2002 model brings back one of the top shoes from 2010’s line-up. Instead of a straight 1:1 reissue, the model returned as a revised 2002R edition: a more lifestyle-targeted shoe, yet still hosting the ABZORB and N-rgy cushioning technology from the original release. Whilst official images have yet to reach us, rumours and leaked images showed two colourways – grey camo (spotted on the feet of Kawhi Leonard at the NBA All-Star Weekend) and an olive version (via the @NewBalance_Gallery Instagram account) – both of which are now joined with a previously-unseen black/camo edition. With signature Bathing Ape details throughout the uppers, the only question now is when can we get our feet into a pair…
