The NEW BALANCE X THISISNEVERTHAT 997 PHYSICAL FITNESS UNIFORM is a special edition of the classic NB 997, created in collaboration with Korean fashion label thisneverthat.

Designed by the legendary Steven Smith, the 997 first hit the market in 1990, featuring a series of visual and technical innovations that have stood the test of time and cemented its status as a cult classic. For this special edition of the classic running shoe, NB have linked up once again with thisisneverthat: one of the most recognisable Korean streetwear labels, worn and endorsed by music and fashion icons such as BTS, who wore the label in their ‘Save Me’ music video. As you might expect, construction and material levels are at a premium here: soft pigskin suedes are furnished with reflective and black accents, with subtle textural detailing throughout. Underneath, the soft foam midsole offers comfortable cushioning for every step, ensuring that this is one shoe that feels as good as it looks.
