On-Foot and Off-Road with the Nike ACG React Terra Gobe

The NIKE ACG REACT TERRA GOBE launched recently, finding its place and making its mark within the All Conditions Gear family tree. As a modern and functional design, the Terra Gobe traverses the gap between countryside and concrete effortlessly. With that in mind, we took this special Mowabb edition of the Gobe out onto the moors to see if it could live up to the legacy set by its predecessors…

The Terra Gobe is a natural evolution of the ACG series: starting with the Nike Odyssey React and utilising it as a foundation layer, the uppers have been enhanced for almost any situation or weather condition by adding sturdy rubber lugs on the heel and toe. What would an ACG shoe be without a proper outdoor outsole? The Terra Gobe answers that question with a menacing saw-toothed rubber forefoot pad, ensuring that slippage is kept to a minimum. The stretch ripstop material across the top of the forefoot forms a durable outer layer for a strong, lightweight and waterproof covering. Despite being a substantial piece of footwear, you won’t have any issues when putting the Gobe on: extended heel pulls and finger loops on the tongue make it simple and quick to take the shoe on or off.

The Terra Gobe launched with two strong colourways – the K2 LDV (yellow) edition and the deep blue The Abyss – with Deep Jungle and Melon Tint editions following shortly afterwards. So far, the special Mowabb-inspired colourway seen in our shoot here remains a special friends-and-family release… but keep an eye on the ACG collection as you never know what’s in store for the future.
