This popular hybrid edition of the Air Force 1 has definitely pushed the boundaries of what we might expect from a Nike shoe: the one-piece foam uppers might follow the same styling of the classic Air Force 1, but that’s where the similarities end. The outer layer is reminiscent of USPS packaging, with shipping labels across the heel panel and a swoosh stamp that looks like it’s fresh off the franking machine. The futuristic speed lacing system is enhanced with toggles, allowing the foam tongue to stick provocatively from the top.
