Available Now: the Nike Air Force 1 Pink Bag

The NIKE AIR FORCE 1 PINK BAG adds a second colourway to the Swoosh’s celebration of New York’s iconic neighbourhood bodegas.

Originally assumed to be a drop for Valentine’s Day, it turns out there’s a deeper meaning to this Air Force 1 design. It celebrates the bodegas of New York City and their often colourful carrier bags, usually decorated with roses and ‘thank you’ or ‘have a nice day’ slogans. The usually tonal midsole piping and branding is coloured in, with the rose and leaf utilising itself as the stem. Repeated logos on the tongue mirror the typography often seen on the bags, and finally, there’s a ‘Have a Nike Day’ logo on the insole, which fits in perfectly with this design.
