Coming Soon: the Nike Air Ghost Racer White and Pure Platinum

The NIKE AIR GHOST RACER WHITE AND PURE PLATINUM looks slick in this stripped-back take on the late ‘90s marathon running shoe…

Originally designed for marathon runners by Steven Smith in 1998, the Ghost Racer was one of the lightest models of the era that spawned it, which no doubt contributed to its namesake. Its welded mesh and leather uppers look as good as they did when the shoe first dropped – timing perfectly with the re-release of other models such as the Vomero – which follows a similar style and aesthetic. Here the model is served up in a stripped back mix of White and Pure Platinum mesh and suede, with silver metallic swooshes completing the toned-down look.
