The Nike Air Jordan 12 Retro Red Metallic Gets Things Twisted

The Nike AIR JORDAN 12 RETRO RED METALLIC finds the luxurious basketball icon returning in a strong colourway: a combination of White, University Red and Black that plays off the original Cherry release. Whilst we’ve seen it being touted as the Twist colourway (presumably because it’s a twist of the original), the official info says Red Metallic – and who are we to argue? The debut of the Jordan 12 marked the point where Jordan Brand pulled away from Nike to establish itself as a subsidiary label: the Jumpman logo takes centre stage on here. The all-White leather uppers have been paired with University Red accents and Black detailing giving the shoe a familiar look. As the name suggests, the final piece de resistance comes in the form of red metallic eyestays for some extra flavour. Dropping in full family sizes, this is a premium design from top to bottom: don’t sleep on this one.
