The Jordan 3 (or Jordan III, for those who prefer Roman numerals) remains one of the highlights in the Air Jordan catalogue. Tinker Hatfield’s creation first hit the streets and basketball courts over three decades ago, but the Jordan 3 has returned to claim its crown during this year’s All-Star Weekend. We’ve seen this model get the retro treatment several times previously, but this time Nike have returned to the OG designation, meaning that we get the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel tabs. Fans may well recall that the last time we saw this treatment on the black version of the Jordan 3 was way back on the 2001 retro release. Premium black tumbled leather uppers are contrasted with the cement (or ‘elephant’) printed heel and toe panels for a smart yet versatile look. One of the best colourways ever? You betcha.
