The Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro Fire Red Returns in its OG Glory

The classic Nike AIR JORDAN 4 RETRO FIRE RED returns this season – and this time, it’s coming with the original ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel.

The legendary Jordan IV silhouette was another one to file in the ‘Game-Changing’ category in Nike’s archives. It looked like nothing else when it first appeared in 1989, with its bold and bright colouring, unusual mesh panels – and the obvious absence of a large swoosh on the sidewalls. For this third edition of the original 1989 release, a premium leather base upper provides the canvas for the black sidewall netting, and the red/black TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane for those not in the know) and the bright red sock liner. Jumpman tongue tags, Nike Air branding on the heel tab and the flipped Air Jordan tags and printed insoles keep things on track perfectly. The white, red, and black Air-filled midsole gets paired with a grey rubber outsole to finish things off.
