Decked out in a deep love heart red, you’d be fooled into thinking Valentines Day is just around the corner. Similarly enough, the silhouette is dubbed “Singles Day” or Guanggun Jie in China, a holiday on November 11th when many young Chinese people celebrate their singledom (and bought themselves gifts, eventually turning it into Asia’s answer to Black Friday). Certain to be a standout, the silhouette comes dressed in red leather from front to back which is kept tonal across the lining, mesh caging, and laces. The colour blocking is only broken up by finishing details in the form of black laces cages, heel branding, and tongue tag, with the final contrast offered up by a classic gum outsole.
