Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro International Flight takes to Barcelona

The NIKE AIR JORDAN 5 RETRO INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT recalls a rare appearance of the Jumpman in Barcelona back in the summer of ’90.

Following from the earlier reveal of Jordan Brand’s fall collection, the Air Jordan 5 from the International Flight trio has now been confirmed for a release in early August. Whilst there were many theories behind what the Sail, Orange Peel, Black and Hyper Royal represented, the shoe actually pays tribute to one of the Jumpman’s many offseason pursuits, this time playing against the Spanish All-Star team in Barcelona, circa August 1990. Said to represent the city’s vibrant street art scene, the special edition model features tumbled Sail leather uppers offset with a bright Orange Peel and Hyper Royal fractal print that takes shape within the quarter mesh panels.
