First released back in 1993, the AJ8 impressed fans of the Jumpman line with its inventive cross-strap fastening, which offered the ultimate lockdown. Still a Jordan favourite all these years later, the silhouette returns this week in a warming new colourway said to be inspired by the San Antonio Riverwalk (but not a million miles off the “South Beach” palette). The model starts with white leather layered with light grey nubuck and the model’s distinct patterned overlay in Turbo Green and Hyper Pink towards the heel counter. A towelling effect elevates the Jumpman tongue logo, with the cross-strap fastening taking centre stage.
