The NIKE AIR MAX 1 SAFARI follows the Air Max 95 in getting the size? exclusive Safari treatment, completing this special pack.

When the Nike Air Safari was first released in 1987, little did anyone know that the speckled print utilised across the toe and heel panels would live on, far beyond the original shoe’s launch. The unusual clay orange colour across the toebox and sidewalls was partnered with the unique ostrich skin pattern that subsequently found its way onto many other Nike designs. For this exclusive release of the Air Max 1, the mesh collar and toebox take on the orange hue, whilst the Safari print is featured tonally around the mudguard and in a tasteful grey combination on the mid-panel. Rounding things off is the Nike Air branding on the heel, which is embroidered in an appropriate matching orange thread. These should prove popular when they drop later this week.
