Whilst there might not be a whole lot of uncovered topics when it comes to talking about the Air Max 1, it remains one of the key shoes in the story of sports footwear. The word iconic gets used too often, but here it really is a valid term: only a small handful of models command this amount of respect, especially three decades after their original release. There have been hundreds of colourways and editions of the AM1 over the years, but this simple Tour Yellow and Blue Recall edition is one of the nicest we’ve seen in a while. It’s light enough to make it a firm summer choice, but with a dark blue mudguard that should defer summertime disasters, such as grass stains and ice cream drips. And with such easy-going hues, this one will work with a wide range of different outfit choices too.
