The NIKE AIR MAX 270 FUTURA brings together components from some of the most-loved Nike models from yesteryear and takes them into the future with a burst of 270 Air technology.

Featuring some of the strongest design elements from earlier Nike running designs, the Air Max 270 Futura could be the most successful hybrid we’ve seen so far this year. The exaggerated tongue comes straight from the Air Max 180, renowned for its lightweight and comfortable feel, whilst the upper panels evoke memories of shoes such as the Air Structure Triax 91 or even the angled cuts of the Tailwind. Look lower down and you’ll see the contoured midsole which houses the huge 270 Air bubble – and has more than a hint of the Air Max 93 within its genetics too. We’ve seen leaked images of various forthcoming or sample colourways, but these three – Wolf Grey/Photo Blue, Dark Stucco/Newsprint/Team Orange/White and Cool Grey/White/Total Orange – are leading the charge right now.
