ISPA, which sits within Nike Sportswear’s special projects and stands for Improvise/Scavenge/Protect/Adapt, is a conscious set of design principles, targeted towards solving problems and driven by experimentation. A considered reaction and response to what’s happening in the environment, ISPA also explores the idea of urban survival. The Air Max 720 features a superlative cushioning unit, which contains the ‘most Air ever in a Swoosh Brand sneaker’ giving guaranteed all-day comfort for the wearer. For the ISPA application, there are plenty of interesting details, such as pod-style embellishments on both the lateral and medial sides, minimal seams and stitching and the branded loop on the tongue to round things off in typical ISPA style. These two colourways ensure that there’s one for every wardrobe this season.
