Before you say it, we know, how many times can you remix an original? The iconic Air Max 90 infrared has been reimagined, reengineered and remastered in almost every way you can imagine, utilising all of Nike’s pioneering techniques and technologies since its debut in 1989. A lot has changed since then and for this iteration Nike have re-tooled one of their icons for a fresh makeover in 2017. Without wanting to blind you with the science, we’ll cut to the chase. The Ultra 2.0 is light and comfy, like seriously comfy. Combining the new Ultra sole with a Flyknit upper and no-sew overlays completes the streamlined aesthetic to make this an on-foot dream!  None of that is taking away from the fact that this is unmistakably an Infrared 90, it pops just like the original and that’s the biggest compliment you can pay. So long as Nike continue to do justice to this classic, we don’t mind how many times the infrared 90 is reborn.
