Turning two-decades-old this year, it’s undoubtedly been a massive few months for the high-speed train inspired Air Max 97 silhouette, with a constant stream of re-released and brand spanking new iterations hitting the shelves at a pretty alarming rate.

After popping up on 43einhalb back in August, the head-turning ‘90s inspired makeup has now finally hit the shelves. Cutting through the Silver Bullet and Skepta collab hype that came before it, this OG-inspired blue and neon edition offers a more down to earth, but still pretty zingy take on the silhouette with the rarely seen “Neon & Royal” colourway mix-up. Constructed from a crisp silver mesh base, the reworking looks like it’s straight out of the vaults, with its throwback design that’s further fine-tuned with slick 3M layered Atlantic Blue gradient waved uppers, as well as Voltage Yellow accents across the Swoosh and visible Air midsole.
