A monumental twentieth anniversary year for Christian Tressler’s iconic Nike Air Max design, this summer sees the brand drop another retro in the form of a Marina Blue colourway. Not seen on the shelves since way back in 2010, the drop is a close cousin to the recently re-released Silver Bullet colourway, but instead opts for a more muted mix of white and vibrant blue, which takes shape across the branding hits and within the silhouette’s iconic full-length visible air midsole.

The quintessential layered AM97 uppers remain the same, mixing together silver mesh and reflective 3M piping with a refreshing pop of clean white leather taking place on the bottom half of the shoe. A versatile and classic mix, the Marina Blue will be dropping exclusively in a women’s sizing run, so there might be more than a few disappointed heads out there…
