Utilising the same sole unit as its predecessor (that’d be the Air Max 97, just in case you were wondering), the Air Max 98 kept relatively quiet upon its release. With the Air Max Plus dropping later the same year, many people slept on the 98 to start with. But like a fine wine, the 98 has slowly grown in terms of its appeal, making us wonder if it was simply a little too good for its time.
